Beavertail Solar, LLC is a proposed 400 MW utility-scale solar project located in Henry County, MO, with the capacity to power more than 60,000 Missouri homes. Anticipated to contribute $1.2 million or more each year in new revenue to Henry County, the Beavertail Solar project will provide significant new funding streams to local taxing districts, while diversifying local landowners\u2019 income and preserving agricultural land for future generations.           Since 2017, Ranger Power has worked with participating landowners to develop the Beavertail Solar project, allowing them to diversify their incomes, while sustaining farming operations for the next generation. Ranger selects potential sites based on land areas with low environmental impact, such as cleared and open fields and locations with existing electrical infrastructure to avoid building new transmission lines. Ranger takes a community-centered approach in working with stakeholders and landowners and supports a variety of community organizations in Henry County, some of which include local schools, investment in a new youth baseball field, the local animal shelter, and the Henry County Fair.
